With a retail value of over $230,000, this Surtees/Yamaha Grand Prize is a package that anyone who visits the, 2020 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show at the ASB Showgrounds in Greenlane, Auckland on May 14-17, will want to win.

Absolutely built to fish, the 7.5m, 750 Game Fisher enclosed cabin Grand Prize features a double walk-through transom, with not one but two live bait tanks, double boarding ladders and an enclosed platform, complete with protective pushpits, for safer fishing in offshore waters. There is also a premium Surtees bait station with twin drawers and four rod holders, Surtees’ impressive new 2020 dash layout and a sink connected to a 22-litre fresh water tank.

Ideal for quickly and safely getting the Surtees 750 Game Fisher to its offshore fishing spots, the F300 is the pinnacle in Yamaha’s latest generation V6 outboard range. It is not only extremely powerful but amazingly lightweight, too.

The 4.2 litre V6 also boasts four valves per cylinder, double overhead camshafts and an innovative in-bank exhaust system that integrates the manifold into the cylinder head, saving even more weight and helping create a surprisingly compact yet very powerful outboard.

The Grand Prize boat will also be fitted with other “top end” Yamaha technologies including a ‘drive-by-wire’ electronic throttle for smooth and precise control and the company’s renowned CL7 Command Link Plus instrument control panel.

Specially designed and built for the 2020 Surtees/Yamaha Grand Prize, the Hosking Trailers custom tandem trailer comes complete with a Trojan Hydrastar Direct Brake system, electric winch and wireless brake controller.

The 2020 Surtees/Yamaha Grand Prize will also come fitted with a comprehensive Garmin marine electronics package featuring a GPSMAP 8416xsv MFD, GMR Fantom 24 radar and a1kw CHIRP transom-mounted transducer.

To hold the Surtees/Yamaha Grand Prize in position over a deep water reef or ensure it drifts in a controlled matter, a remote controlled 36-volt Minn Kota electric trolling motor will be installed on the bow, complete with quick release bracket and socket.

For those times when the winner does wish to drop anchor, the dashboard-controlled Lone Star GX3 Drum Winch will make sure it is quickly and easily deployed and retrieved.

For great sounds onboard, there is a Fusion MS-RA770 Apollo marine stereo. To ensure the Grand Prize is always looking its very best SeaDek protective panels will be on installed on the cockpit floor, on the side decks and on the platform.
